Renewal of ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 Certifications

McKeown International and Cometal have entered into a strategic business relationship that combines the unique strengths of each of our respective companies to continue and expand technical and commercial services for AOD refractory products.

Effective January 1, 2023 Cometal, S.A. assumes the exclusive marketing and distribution of the products manufactured by RioTinto Metal Powders in Spain and Portugal.

Last October, a Ministerial Order APM 1040/2017 was published establishing the date as of which it is already required to have provided such financial guarantee for certain industrial activities.

As a sign of its commitment to quality and despite the circumstances, on May 23, 2022 COMETAL has renewed the certificate of compliance of its quality and environmental management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.

Despite the rapid development of the COVID-19 epidemic, COMETAL maintains its activity having implemented a coordinated teleworking system in order to maintain the continuity of its operations in case of any contingency.

COMETAL announces that it has signed an agreement with the German companies m-tec wire GmbH and m-tec powder GmbH as its exclusive agent for Spain and Portugal for its range of products.

Cometal announces that we have been appointed by AlzChem Group AG as their exclusive distributor for Spain and Portugal of their product Calzot®.

Cometal is proud to announce that it has been appointed by W. Oelschläger GmbH & Co. Oelschläger GmbH & Co. KG as its exclusive distributor for Spain and Portugal.
