APPLICATION
Silicon Misch metal is an alloy for the conditioning of cast iron materials. The effect is based on the formation of misch metal oxides and sulfides.

ADDITION RATE
The addition rate is dependent on several factors and must be adjusted for the respective metallurgical requirements of each foundry.

- 2 – 10 mm

PACKAGING
- 25 kg paper sacks on pallet
- 100 kg steel drum on pallet
- 1000 kg super sacks on pallet
The containers are covered with a protective film.
SHELF LIFE AND TRANSPORT
Silicon misch metal can be stored indefinitely in its original packaging. The effects of humidity are to be avoided. Relevant hazardous substance regulations must be complied with. Our Shipment Handling department can provide further information. Silicon misch metal is not a hazardous substance as defined by transport regula- tions.
