FeSiBa

APPLICATION

FeSiBa is a preconditioning agent for cast iron melts to be applied in the oven during tapping or transit in the ladle. This highly effective based on Ferro Silicon preconditioning agent can be used for both gray and nodular iron. Particularly barium element, together with aluminium and calcium, gives to the alloy a pre-inoculation effect which improves the melt conditions for its further processing which means less attenuation of the inoculation effect, minor tendency to hardening and, in short, it enhances the mechanical properties of the casting.

ADITION

The dose to add depends on the operating conditions such as temperature, method and place where the addition is effected. It should range between 0.1 and 0.5%.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

FeSiBa is not classified as a dangerous good for its transport. Its storage should be carried out in a dry place. It can be indefinitely stored in its original container; normal warehousing safety precautions should be observed. For further information, please contact with us.

Grain size from 1 to 10 mm. Packed in big bags

REMARKS

All our products shall be labelled with product name, reference number and net weight. Each delivery is accompanied by a certificate of analysis and the delivery note.
