APPLICATION
LSF 2 is a highly effective inoculan! based on ferrosilicon. lt is suitable for ductile iron, gray iron and compacted graphite iron and precipitates stable nucleus for the formation of graphite. LSF 2 is effective in avoiding carbides and is able to reduce undesired effects of tramp elements. Further, it is reported that it contributes to reduce micro porosities.

ADDITION RATE
Addition rates vary depending on the foundry requirements (e.g. 0.05 – 0.5%).

- 0,2 – 0,7 mm* (in-stream inoculation)
- 0,6 – 0,7 mm (ladle inoculation)

PACKAGING
- 25 kg paper sacks on pallets
- 100 kg steel drums on pallets

SHELF LIFE AND TRANSPORT
LSF 2 can be stored unlimited in its original packaging. The effects of humidity are to be avoided. Relevan! hazardous substance regulations must be complied with. Our Shipment Handling department can provide further information. LSF 2 is not a hazardous substance as defined by transport regulations.
