APPLICATION
If cerium misch metal is not introduced with a pre-conditioning alloy, the use of cube-shaped pieces of cerium misch metal is suitable. Cerium misch metal is also used for modification of the graphite in the cast iron in order to achieve cast iron with vermicular graphite or compact graphite.

SHELF LIFE AND TRANSPORT
Cerium misch metal can be stored indefinitely. The effects of humidity are to be avoided. Relevant hazardous substance regulations must be complied with. Our Shipment Handling department can provide further information. Cerium misch metal is not a hazardous substance as defined by transport regulations.
