APPLICATION
INOCULOY 63 is a highly effective inoculation alloy based on FeSi with the effec- tive inoculating elements calcium, barium and manganese. It is used both for cast iron with lamellar graphite as well as for cast iron with nodular graphite. The combi- nation of the elements calcium, barium and manganese results in significant chill reduction and reduces section sensitivity when compared to other inoculants. As a result of the excellent inoculation action, the amount added can be reduced by up to 1/3 in comparison to a FeSi inoculant.
